Seasonal Hotel Receptionist
Tregarthen’s Hotel on the Isles of Scilly are looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join them for the 2024 season. The successful candidate will need to be available to start on the 14th March 2024 and be available to work until mid-October.
The Hotel is ideally located on St Mary’s on the Isles of Scilly and enjoys stunning views of the islands of Tresco, Bryher, Samson and St Martin’s.
In addition to a competitive salary, you will be well-rewarded with a staff uniform, a mid-season bonus and a share in the gratuities. This role is live in, with accommodation provided.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you are eligible to work in the UK.

Skills & attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Confident with hotel reservation systems
- You must be passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests and have the ability to resolve issues when they arise
- You must have a high standard of spoken and written English
Main responsibilities:
- To undertake front of house duties including meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of guests to ensure a superb customer experience.
- To be responsible for guest check-in and check-out, guests billing processes and cash/data handling.
- To undertake general administration duties including emails, filing, answering the telephone and assisting with restaurant reservations.
- To assist the F&B team during busy periods.
