Our client, Tregarthen’s Hotel, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie to join their team for the 2026 season.
Beautifully situated on St Mary’s in the Isles of Scilly, Tregarthen’s offers breathtaking views across Tresco, Bryher, Samson and St Martin’s. Along with a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a staff uniform, a mid-season bonus, and a share of gratuities. This is a live-in role, with accommodation provided.
This is a full-time seasonal position. Applicants must be available from 13th March 2026 through to 26th October 2026 and must be eligible to work in the UK.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, is eager to broaden their skills, and is ready to work across different areas of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Assist with stock control, ordering and reducing waste
- Help train and support junior kitchen staff when required
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience at CDP level
- Remain calm and consistent under the pressure of a busy kitchen
- Have strong teamwork skills
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Demonstrate strong time-management skills
- Be passionate about fresh, high-quality food
