Role Purpose
Reporting to the Childcare Manager / Team Leader, you will organise and lead a variety of sports-based activities in and around the resort for children and young people aged eleven plus.
Responsibilities
“Nothing is too much trouble” will be your motto while caring for the children, planning and delivering an engaging and age-appropriate range of activities. You will:
Lead activities for children and young people aged from 11+.
Plan and deliver an engaging and appropriate activity plan.
Occasionally look after younger children (5-11) to support business needs.
Ensure that all parents and children receive the exceptional “Scott Dunn” service.
Be adept at keeping efficient and accurate records of plans and routines.
Liaise with the wider team to ensure smooth running of the Explorers clubs
Have a flexible attitude, ‘stepping in’ where necessary.
Ability to encourage teens to take part in activities.
Work independently with young people away from resort to deliver activities with coaching professionals
Duties
Working hard while having fun, you will:
Provide a safe, hygienic and stimulating environment for children and young people.
Lead activities over flexible hours each day.
Plan and deliver a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
Take part in evening entertainment during “peak” weeks.
Provide a nutritious lunch and healthy snacks to the children in your care.
Ensure food is prepared according to the food hygiene policy.
Take care of club equipment to maintain its quality and function.
Communicate with parents throughout their stay regarding their child’s wellbeing.
Provide a degree of flexibility wherever possible to meet business needs.
Ensure all paperwork, records and accident / incident forms are completed correctly.
Travel to / work at other resorts if required.
Take part in a range of activities including wall climbing, high ropes and water sports.

Available for the Peak season (Mid-June to early September)
You must be a resident in Portugal or Greece or have dual nationality to be employed.
Holders of EU passports are welcome to apply to work on a self-employed basis.
Please note that you will be required to hold a current criminal background check / disclosure and barring service check. If you do not have one, you will be required to obtain this prior to arrival in resort.
