The Armadillo resort team is at the heart of all our guest’s experiences, representing the Armadillo brand throughout the resort, delivering luxury service to the highest standards. Our Resort Chauffeurs are there to provide impeccable customer service, logistics, and technical skills to support resort staff and management.
First impressions really count in the Resort Chauffeur role, with an emphasis on punctuality, communication, and personal appearance. A successful candidate will need to have strong customer service skills, the ability to take in large amounts of information, and work through demanding times with initiative and positivity.
Resort Chauffeurs work to a weekly shift pattern, that is changeable depending on guest bookings, chalets, and arrival times. You will drive VW Caravelles, Mercedes Vitos, and/or Land Rover Defenders, in changeable weather environments.
Resort Chauffeur Role Overview
- Take full responsibility of all company vehicles, maintaining internally and externally to and impeccable standard. Reporting any damage or maintenance immediately to Resort Management.
- Immaculate cleanliness and safety of the vehicles, taking ownership for safe and courteous driving within resort and respecting local regulations.
- Providing in-car resort concierge, being knowledgeable of the mountain and town.
- Responsible for snow clearing pathways, balconies, and general areas.
- Ensuring cleanliness of all general Armadillo storerooms, supporting Resort Operations Administrator, completing stock takes, and management of general stock items, reporting low stocked items.
- Assisting in general maintenance and upkeep of chalets, disposing of rubbish and food waste where needed.
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of all Jacuzzis, and spa facilities
- Distribution of chalet equipment and supplies, supporting chalet teams
- Accurately managing and reporting company money, receipts, and account cards. Sticking to assigned budgets.
- Work with chalet team to clean and prepare chalet for effective change over, ready for guest arrival.
- Assisting with any roles in the event of illness and injury within the resort team
- Have a flexible, positive attitude to your role, Armadillo, team members and guests.
Must Have
- EU Passport, or valid work/residency permit for country of work
- Minimum age 23 years old
- Luxury service experience of 2 years or more, with either luxury ski chalet, Michelin restaurant or super yacht experience.
- Previous professional experience driving larger vehicles, 4×4 SUV’s or Vans, preferably in a mountain environment.
- Knowledge of ski resorts/season life
- Fluent in English
- Available full winter season, November to April
