Looking-for-a-Chalet-Chef-in-Switzerland-for-winter-2324

Looking for a Chalet Chef in Switzerland for winter 23/24!

The Armadillo resort team is at the heart of all our guest’s experiences, representing the Armadillo brand throughout the resort, delivering luxury service to the highest standards. Our Chefs are there to provide inspiration through the dinner plate, working creatively, and designing bespoke menus.

We are looking for passionate Chefs, with excellent technical cooking ability, be detailed oriented and excel in luxury customer service delivery. Our Chef team is responsible for designing menus, and working to a budget, needing strong communication skills to work effectively with a resort team.

Chalet kitchens are open-plan, providing a natural setting for guest interaction. We ask our team members to be highly adaptable when navigating the demands of luxury hospitality. The right team member needs to be able to work in an organized, methodical, and clean manner.

The Chef team works, individually, across all chalet bookings, in a variety of properties, not being assigned to one chalet for the season. Our chalets range from 3 guestrooms to 8 guestrooms and are supported by either a Host or Housekeeper, depending on the size of the guest booking.

Our resort team is the face of Ski Armadillo, needing to take pride in personal appearance, uniform, and working practices, always striving to deliver the highest standards. We are looking for someone to bring creativity to their menus, be passionate about delighting guests, and work hard with dedication to the role. Luxury chalet hospitality is a hugely rewarding industry, allowing you the opportunity to work in the beautiful mountains and meet fantastic team members.

Living Costs
Although we do not provide accommodation, we do look to secure beds for our SA team, through a partnered rental agency, to take that stress away from the team.
The accommodation will most likely be in Le Chable, the town below Verbier, which is connected via a gondola that runs 5 am – 11:50 pm, 7 days a week. Le Chable is where a large amount of resort workers live, with bars and restaurants available.
13th Salary
Swiss workers are entitled to a 13th-month salary, equal to one month’s full salary (3582 CHF).
This is calculated pro-rate on the number of months worked during the contract, and payable after the 3-month probation is completed. We would pay the 13th salary in the final pay cheque.
