Full description
Work Play USA is one of the most affordable international camp staff recruitment agencies. We specialise in cultural exchange and offer people the opportunity to spend their summer working at a premier camp in the USA. There’s no time like the present to sort out your summer plans, and if you are passionate about sports, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
The Role: Sports Coach
Love playing sports and want to share your passion? As a Sports Coach, you’ll lead campers in activities like soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, volleyball, gymnastics, and more.
You’ll bring energy, encouragement, and fun to every game, helping campers build skills and confidence while also developing your own along the way. You don’t need formal coaching qualifications—we’re looking for people with experience playing their sport, who are still active, and have a passion for teaching. (If you’ve taught or coached kids before, that’s a huge bonus!)
No professional experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to work with children. Camp contracts typically last around 8 weeks between June and August.
What do you get from us?
- A competitive minimum salary of at least $2000+
- All-inclusive summer: Food, accommodation, and medical insurance are provided for the entirety of your camp contract.
- Travel the USA: Up to 30 days on your J1 visa to travel around the USA after camp with some cash in your pocket!
- Low costs & Free Application: One of the lowest program fees on the market, and a completely free application. You will get to speak to a member of our team before deciding to commit to the program.
- 1-on-1 Support: Your own personal account manager will guide you through the entire process, from finding the perfect camp placement to navigating the J1 visa process. We don’t conform to normal office hours, call or text us anytime for personal one-to-one support!
- 24/7 support when in the USA.
