Woodlands Chalets is a small independent luxury chalet company operating two large chalets in Morzine France, with a great reputation for excellent food and outstanding customer service.
We are looking for a Host/Host couple who are committed to delivering guest satisfaction for our 2023/24 winter team. Ideal candidates will have a great work ethic, need to please, a love of good food, the mountains and be strong team players. They will also share company values which include:

The positions run from December until the end of April so you will need to be available to work throughout this period.
Tasks & responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Setting the chalets up at the start of the season, deep cleaning them at the end of the season and keeping them well maintained and clean in between.
- Hosting guests and making sure they have everything they need at all times.
- Driving guests to and from slopes in a company minibus.
- Preparing & serving breakfast 5 days per week
- Preparing afternoon tea, aperitifs and canapés 5 days per week.
- Preparing & serving a gourmet 4-course dinner 5 nights per week.
- Washing up after all meals.
- Cleaning & room servicing to the highest of hygiene standards.
- Miscellaneous things including, shopping, laundry, maintenance etc.
- Complying with a budget and managing stock levels of food, wine, cleaning products etc.
- Complying to all of the sustainability practices including recycling, reusing care and maintenance of company assets.
- Working as part of a team and treating co-workers with kindness and respect.
What you will get in return:
- Salary €1700pcm (gross)
- 2 days off per week (not consecutive)

- Full training course prior to the start of the season.
Essential Requirements:
It is essential that you have a good level of spoken English (B2 equivalent), a full manual driving license that allows you to drive in Europe and be over 21.
At least one of the couple needs to have experience with and or qualifications in food service. The majority of the food will be produced in the central production kitchen but there will be some cooking to order during meal services, this will be covered in training. We will be prioritising candidates with the right to work in France i.e. a Carte de Sejour or an EU passport, but we are open to applicants willing to go though the process to obtain a Carte de Sejour pluriannuelle.
