Season Dates: Mid May 17th to October 7th, with additional opportunities in the peak of July and August.
Our Oasis in the Mountains: Discover the beauty of our exclusive location, nestled at the end of the road, just half an hour from the village. The Berggasthof boasts 14 cozy hotel rooms and a bustling day terrace, offering breathtaking views of Ennstal.
Diverse Guests and Dynamic Atmosphere: From global mountain hikers to Dachstein Trail adventurers, our guests come from around the world. Experience a lively mix of weddings, birthdays, family gatherings, via ferrata groups, tour buses, and more. Our mountain is alive with free-roaming cows and sheep, occasional film crews, and always buzzing with excitement.
Your Home Away from Home: As a valued team member, enjoy your own hotel room in a staff apartment or a charming older hotel room. Wages are in accordance with the Austrian Collective Labor Agreement for the hospitality industry, with overtime compensation. Accommodation is free, and you’ll be receiving meals and drinks 24/7.
Berggasthof Family Spirit: Join our tight-knit family where everyone helps one another – no ranks or positions. Duties range from taking orders, serving, bar work, to guest check-ins, check-outs, and room cleaning. Picture yourself in a mountain beach tent; busy and bustling on sunny days, and embracing the elements in bad weather.
Adventure Beyond Work: When you’re not serving smiles, explore Austria with fellow employees. Go karting, embark on city visits (Salzburg), and more. Our team typically consists of students and young travelers seeking a unique blend of work and exploration.
Your Qualifications: No professional experience required, but a friendly, hospitable attitude is a must. Maintain a neat and representative appearance, and possess basic knowledge of English and fluent German. Candidates must be 18 years old or older, with an open character – our guests love a good chat!
