Morzine Ski Chalets is a small Irish-based company offering high-quality chalet and apartment accommodation in the beautiful resort of Morzine in France. We combine a warm and friendly atmosphere with exceptional catering and personalised service. Our aim is to give our guests the best chalet experience and holiday of a lifetime, leaving them relaxed, rejuvenated and with great memories.
Please note that we can only accept applications from candidates with an EU passport or candidates that already have a residence or work permit for France.
Job requirements:
Previous hospitality/customer service experience.
Responsible for:
Providing excellent service to guests, ensuring the smooth running of the chalet, changeovers and maintaining Morzine Ski Chalets standards.
Main duties:
- Ensuring all properties are in excellent condition & bedrooms set to MSC specification
- Assisting with other team members as & when required
- Welcoming all new arrivals/bidding farewell to all departing guests
- Midweek property cleaning, servicing the rooms
- Deep clean of properties for changeover days or guest departure/arrival days
- Midweek towel washing/drying
- Monitoring bed linen on changeover days
- Ensuring hot tub is kept to a high standard and daily checks (training provided)
- Assisting with any requests, queries or problems guests may have
- Keep and maintain gardens in a functional and attractive manner.
Personal qualities:
- Must be enthusiastic, hardworking, positive, self-motivated and a good team player.
- Working together as part of a very close team
- Excellent standards of hygiene & cleanliness are essential.
- The hours are long and the job is physically demanding (especially on changeover days where it can involve a full day) so having a positive attitude is essential.
- Guests must come first at all times and should be cared for in a warm and friendly manner to ensure they have a successful and great holiday.
Salary package:
Suitable for a couple, pair/friends, or two solo applicants. Must be available from mid-June to September.
Approx. 20hr/week (Mostly full days Saturdays and Sundays) cleaning/changing over our self-catered holiday rental properties in Morzine – 160 Euro/week, shared accommodation in central Morzine, uniform.
