The Guest Experience Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and delivering memorable guest experiences throughout the hotel. They will oversee all social events, activities, entertainment programs, and initiatives to ensure the hotel maintains the vibrant, energetic, and community-focused atmosphere for which Collective Hospitality is known. The Guest Experience Manager works closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, and Marketing to bring the brand’s lifestyle concept to life.

Main areas of responsibility

  1. Customer engagement and community development.
  • Create a welcoming, sociable and inclusive environment for guests.
  • Create strong interaction with guests through daily activities, events and personal involvement.
  • Encourage a sense of community among travelers so that they feel part of the brand experience.
  • Modify the social environment, bars, lounges and event venues.

  • Plans, organizes and carries out daily and weekly activities (bar crawls, outings, games, workshops, parties, etc.)

  • Coordinate with F&B, the entertainment team and external partners, if necessary.
  • Acquire guest participation and feedback on events and continuously improve the range of activities offered.
  1. Brand representation and social media.
  • Take photos/videos during events and activities.
  • Collaborates with the marketing department to create regular content for social media.
  • This will be a positive and favorable reaction during interactions with others.
  1. Security, regulatory compliance and operational standards.
  • Ensure that all events and activities comply with local safety procedures and regulations.
  • High-energy activities (e.g., public relations activities, pool parties) carry risks.
  • Ensure that activity and event venues are clean, organized and safe.
  1. Team management and coordination
  • Lead, train and coordinate the experience team, party representatives and activity hosts.
  • Ensure that the team is fair, engaging and safe with guests.
  • You will see the diagram, the division of tasks, and the service expectations.
  1. Guest feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Collects guest feedback and comments on experiences and activities.
  • There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
  • Work closely with management to align experiences with your organization’s goals.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Experience in the hospitality, events, tourism, entertainment or lifestyle industry.
  • Energetic, extroverted personality with excellent communication skills.
  • You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You enjoy working evenings, weekends, and participating in dynamic social events.
  • You are comfortable speaking in front of groups and you find it easy to connect with guests from different backgrounds.
  • You must speak fluent English; Thai is an advantage.
  • Experience in youth hostels or youth travel is an advantage.
