Nationals of certain countries can visit South Korea for up
to three months without a visa but will need to be granted a work visa or permit
to
take
up employment.

The following Nationals can enter Korea without visas on business
or travelling purposes.
Asia & Oceania: Bangladesh, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore,
Thailand, Israel, Pakistan
America: Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Colombia,
Commonwealth of Dominica, Costa Rica,Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica,
Mexico, Nicaragua,
Peru, Panama, Brazil, El Salvador,St. Lucia, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Vincent & the
Grenadines, Surinam, Trinided & Tobago
Africa: Lesotho, Liberia, Morocco, Tunisia,
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark,
Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Liechtenstein, Luxembourg,
Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland,
The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Turkey
Korean who, with ports of Republic of Korea, wish to enter the above countries,
can enter without visas in cases of within 30, 60 or 90 days of visits on business
or travelling purposes, according to each agreement.
The following Nationals who want to visit Korea just for a short-term tour
or transit are permitted to enter Korea with no visa according to the principles
of reciprocity or priority of national interests with a tourist/transit visa
status(B-2, 30days). Special status is awarded to Canadians(6 months) and Australian(90days)

not mentioned above will need a visa to visit South Korea

Working Holiday
Visas: South
Korea has Working Holiday Agreements with Australia, Canada, Japan And New Zealand
issuing visa that are valid for one year (12 months)
Requirements;
* Must a citizen of one of
the above countries residing in that country at the time of application
* Intend primarily
to holiday in the Republic of Korea and also to engage in employment as an incidental
aspect of that holiday in order to supplement travel expenses.

Aged between 18 to 30 years.
* Be without accompanying
dependent
* Possess Return travel ticket and
sufficient funds
* Have Touring schedule and
touring activities
* Possess valid Passport
If granted a working
holiday visa may not be employed as receptionist, dancer, singer, musician, acrobat
etc. at places of entertainment which might endanger good morals and manners,
or engage in types of business which go against the tenor of the agreement, such
as provide medical treatment and other professions which require certain qualifications
in accordance with domestic law.
