Chalets1066 is looking for staff to work as Cleaners/Housekeepers, Maintenance-Hot Tub Technicians and Seasonaires for the winter season. We are looking for motivated, responsible people who are able to work hard on busy changeover days, with the potential for more during busy periods.
IMPORTANT: Please note that we can only accept applications from candidates with an EU passport and/or candidates that already have the right to work in France.
Cleaners/Housekeepers
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in cleaning or hospitality/customer-facing roles, a full clean driving license and the right to work in France. Full training will be provided.
Main Activities:
- Cleaning of all of our properties to the very high standards we work to consistently
- Changing/Preparing & managing linen + towels and re-making beds.
- Cleaning the communal areas of our office building
- Recording maintenance issues with Snapfix
- Cleaning the company vehicles
Key skills/attributes:
- Cleaning properties to a high standard consistently
- Excellent attention to detail + Flexible hands-on approach
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow a schedule, work under pressure & meet deadlines
- Full clean driving licence
- High level of spoken French and English

Maintenance-Hot Tub Technicians
The ideal candidate will have 3+ year’s experience in a building trade (construction/plumbing/electrician/joiner etc.), a full clean driving license and the right to work in France. Full training for hot tub maintenance will be provided.
Main Activities:
- General repairs and maintenance to keep our properties working efficiently
- Taking ownership for solving maintenance issues
- Pro-actively identifying, planning and solving maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Completing work to a high standard (including cleanliness when properties are occupied)
- Accurately recording time spent on each issue at each property for owner billing
- Communicating efficiently with the Operations Manager about the progress and projected completion of maintenance tasks
- Recording maintenance issues with Snapfix
- Daily and weekly maintenance of our hot tubs (daily chemical checks, regular water changes etc)
- Daily taxi trips for clients
- Breakfast delivery -> Winter
- Snow clearing -> Winter
- Cleaning the vehicles
- Check-ins / check-outs (if required)
Key skills/attributes:
- Extensive building trade experience (construction/plumbing/electrician/joiner etc)
- Excellent attention to detail + Flexible hands-on approach
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow a schedule, work under pressure & meet deadlines
- Full clean driving license
- High level of spoken French and English
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
What do you get in return?
- Seasonal contract / Contract of determined duration
- 35 hours normal (possibility of overtime during peak weeks)
- Salary monthly 1679 euros over 12 months
- Accommodation included (for the right candidate we could offer a package that does not include accommodation)
Seasonaires
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles, a full clean driving license and the right to work in France. Full training will be provided.
Main Activities:
- Cleaning of all of our properties to the very high standards we work to consistently
- Daily taxi trips for clients
- Changing/Preparing & managing linen + towels and re-making beds.
- Preparing equipment for the clients and delivering + preparing the info packs
- Cleaning the communal areas of our office building
- Check-ins / check-outs
- Spot-checks: checking that the cleaning has been performed to a high standard
- Recording maintenance issues with Snapfix
- Breakfast delivery -> Winter
- Snow clearing -> Winter
- Cleaning the vehicles
Key skills/attributes:
- Cleaning properties to a high standard consistently
- Excellent attention to detail + Flexible hands-on approach
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow a schedule, work under pressure & meet deadlines
- Full clean driving licence
- Confident driving a 9-seater vehicle in winter conditions
