The Freeride Republic is run by winter sports enthusiasts who have spent over twenty seasons working and running chalets in the French Alps. The company is now in its 17th full season of operating chalets independently in the beautiful Courchevel and Meribel area.
Please note that we can only accept two candidates applying as a couple for this role who hold EU passports or an existing carte Sejour for France. The season runs from the start of December 2022 until the end of April 2023.
About the job
The Freeride Republic is looking for a Chalet Couple to work in our chalet operation in La Tania and Meribel in the French Alps for the forthcoming winter season 2022 / 2023.
Main duties are the provision of a high-quality 6-day menu for 14 guests including a cooked & continental breakfast, afternoon tea, and a 3-course evening meal. Other duties include the meeting & greeting of guests on arrival day, daily cleaning & room servicing, a full chalet clean on changeover day, basic DIY duties and the daily maintenance of the chalet jacuzzi.
Training will be provided. Previous professional or commercial cooking experience in a similar cooking role is required for at least one of the applicants of the couple.
