Well-known hotel are seeking Front of House Assistants & Housekeepers in beautiful North-West Scotland

This is a small but very well-known hotel, restaurant and bar set in a landscape of sea, mountains and islands on the far North-West coast of Scotland. Guests visit the hotel to enjoy the landscape, the tranquility and – importantly – the food which is heavily influenced by the coastal surroundings.

You have a choice of position as a Front of House Assistant or Housekeeper. We’re accepting applications from couples too!

Front of House Assistant:
Guests are your top priority – your care and love for our guests is your drive. Beyond that, you are the smooth transference of our outstanding food to our beautiful Restaurant and Bistro and so you work in respectful partnership with our Kitchen. You are passionate about the food our Kitchen produces and the wines and other drinks we serve. In the dining rooms, you are elegant and have an eye for detail; you notice what our guests need before they know it. You are genuinely warm and welcoming.

  • Previous hospitality / restaurant / people experience is vital.
  • You must be able to work in the UK.
  • Pay range is up to £26,000 per annum (or, £10 per hour at approximately 50 hours per week), pro rata, paid monthly and based on experience.
  • There is a possibility to have a room in our shared team home at a cost of £125 per month.
  • You will also be entitled to a share of tips, one family staff meal per day, contribution to uniform, staff discounts in our restaurants, required training and statutory holiday.

Housekeeper:
This person must be caring, know how to make a room homely, take pride in the cleaning and upkeep of our rooms and buildings, have an eye for detail, and know and understand how to use and care for the tools and equipment of housekeeping.  Your work will entail both housekeeping and in-house laundry.

  • You must have previous housekeeping and laundry experience, and you must care deeply for our guests enjoying an impeccable experience.
  • You must be able to work in the UK.
  • Pay range is up to £26,000 per annum (or, £10 per hour at approximately 50 hours per week), pro rata,  paid monthly and based on experience.
  • There is a possibility to have a room in our shared team home at a cost of £125 per month.

Couples are most welcome to apply as we are seeking multiple staff members for the 2021 season.

The work period is from the 12th May until the end of October 2021.
