PROFESSIONAL TRANSFER DRIVER NEEDED TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN THE BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ALPS
Full-time driver needed to join our small, family airport transfer company here in Morzine, France. Applicants must be 25 years or over, have an EU passport, and have one of the following professional driving licenses/experience.
- Full category C or D driving license
- D1 driving license (with no restrictions)
- Professional driving qualification (4-day course minimum)
- OR 2 years (or season equivalent) of professional passenger or freight driving experience (category B license)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Driving clients between Geneva Airport and various ski resorts in the Portes Du Soleil in long-wheel-based 9 seater minibusses in winter conditions in a safe, calm and considerate manner. Candidates must be careful, alert and confident drivers and always maintain the highest level of customer service. Flexibility, patience and common sense are crucial with the unpredictability of airport transfers and an ever-changing schedule. Applicants must have exceptional timekeeping, a smart appearance with good personal hygiene and a professional yet friendly attitude.
Key Responsibilities and Qualities Needed:
- A high level of spoken English is essential
- Calm and confident driving skills in all conditions
- Maintaining and cleaning of company vehicles
- Excellent levels of professional and friendly customer service in all situations
- Excellent personal presentation and good personal hygiene
- Self-motivation and the ability to use your own initiative
- Locating accommodation drop off and pick up points as required
- Flexibility in working unsociable hours
- The use of your own vehicle to collect/drop off your work minibus is preferred
- Some knowledge of the French language is useful but not essential
