Morzine Ski Chalets is a small Irish-based company offering high-quality chalet and apartment accommodation in the beautiful resort of Morzine in France. We combine a warm and friendly atmosphere with personalised service. Our aim is to give our guests the best chalet experience and holiday of a lifetime, leaving them with great memories.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a driver in the beautiful resort of Morzine in France. This position demands a great deal of flexibility and interaction with both guests and MSC colleagues. It is a greatly varied and physical position that will call for a high level of practical ability as well as responsibility and awareness. Our drivers need to be self-motivated, resourceful, proactive, communicative and happy to jump in and help with any situation.
Main Duties
- Driving guests to/from the airport on arrival/departure days
- Meeting/greeting guests at the airport
- Loading/off-loading luggage
- Assisting with guests’ luggage to the chalet and rooms
- Maintenance of vehicles regularly (petrol/oil/water/tire checks)
- Cleaning vehicles on a weekly basis
- Monitoring expenses/petty cash and keeping a record
- Putting on snow chains when required (training provided)
- Transferring guests to/from the chalet and ski lifts
- Clearing snow from the driveway
- Purchasing of items for chalets when required – for example, gas, wood
Essential Requirements
- Full clean EU driving license (held for a minimum of 3 years)
- Available for the whole season
- EU passport holder
- Over 23 years old (for vehicle insurance purposes)
- Previous employment in a role that required driving.
Responsible for:
Providing excellent service to guests, ensuring the smooth running of ski shuttles and airport transfers while maintaining Morzine Ski Chalets’ high standards.
