Teach English Volunteer Recruit English Speakers To Teach English In Chimborazo, Ecuador.

Ten years ago, the ecuadorian governement decided that english would be taught from the primary school, but there is a huge lack of English teachers in Ecuador.

The aim of this project is to welcome volunteer English teachers from abroad in the province of Chimborazo (Ecuador).

Do We Charge Something ?

There are no fees to volunteer with us.

Food/Accomodation is provided by a local family.

The volunteer only has to cover his own costs for travel, vaccines, insurance etc.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people that can speak English. You do not need to have the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) diploma.

We would like volunteer English teachers who can stay more than 2 months, the necesary time to get to know the children and to acclimatise. Whithout any doubt, we would prefer that you can stay for the whole of one school year from September to June.

It is not compulsory that you can speak Spanish, but it will be clearly much easier for your integration in Ecuador if you have some ability.

You do not need to have experiences in teaching.

However, we will select the volunteers according to their experiences, abilities and motivations.
