Projects Abroad Offers Voluntary Conservation & Environment Placements in the Developing World
Projects Abroad offers various Conservation & Environment projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
On these projects you can help the environment, protect wildlife and gain valuable experience.
You could be working to protect seahorses in Cambodia, rehabilitating animals in the Peruvian rainforest or even living and working alongside elephants in South Africa. We offer Conservation & Environment projects in 8 countries around the world.
You can take part in a Conservation & Environment project for as little as 2 weeks. Alternatively, you could volunteer for longer as part of a gap year or career break. You do not need any previous experience – all we ask is that you are passionate about the environment.
What it was like
“I met a wide range of people, all of which quickly became my friends, and all the staff at Projects Abroad were always constantly friendly, and lots of fun! Mexico, and the Conservation Project brought out the best in me, and my time there gave me some invaluable life experience that I will never forget!"
Sophie Woodward - Conservation & Environment Volunteer in Mexico
