Neilson Active Holidays Are Now Recruiting For Winter 2010 / 2011 Ski Season (November - May)

Neilson is dedicated to providing active holidays, in the winter with our ski programme and in the summer and in year round resorts with our sailing, windsurfing, mountain-biking, diving and walking holidays. Chefs: To deliver a professional, enthusiastic, and efficient service within the kitchen team, as directed by the Head Chef. Work in a productive manner at all times within the team, or individually ensuring the delivery of quality guest orientated service.

Head Chef: needed to work in the French Alps in our newly refurbished 160-bedded club hotel.  Kitchen staff will include 2 KP’s, 4 Commis Chefs, 3 Chef de Parties and 2 Sous Chefs. Daily breakfast and evening meal served either buffet style or plated service. Lunchtime menus will be available to our hotel guests and the general public. This is a busy and exciting role in a kitchen that has just been re-vamped with new and up to date equipment, making this a great kitchen to work in.  Working to set KPI’s and a budget are paramount in this busy but rewarding role. Full support on hand from the Hospitality Manager and the Hotel Manager. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

Chalet Host: As a Chalet Host you will be based in one of our chalets in Europe. You will be responsible for providing catering and hospitality services to our guests and ensuring that they are made comfortable during their stay. Your duties include: preparing breakfast, a packed lunch, afternoon tea and a three-course evening meal six nights a week; cleaning the chalet on a daily, weekly and seasonal basis; providing guests with information, help and advice; completing company paperwork, ordering and shopping and also controlling the budget for the chalet whilst maintaining excellent customer service.

Support Chalet Host: You will be responsible for the above in various chalets to help and support the Chalet Hosts and also cover their days off.

Administrator: As a Neilson Administrator, you will be the backbone of our overseas operation. Reporting into a Senior Administrator or Area manager you will be responsible for providing them with timely and accurate information and making sure that you meet all deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis. Our resort offices are the hub of our overseas operation and you will need to be prepared to work in a sometimes very busy and pressurised environment. You will need a can do attitude with a very flexible approach to your work as you may be required to help with other tasks within the overseas operation including airport duties. To be considered for this role you will have a proven track record within an administration field. A language would also be advantageous.
