Ardmarnoch Estate In Argyll Scotland Are Recruiting A Woodlands Maintenance / General Estate Assistant

     For the clearance, development and maintenance of an outstanding Policy woodland on the West coast of Scotland. The Estate is particularly notable for its unspoilt natural environment. It contains large native oak and birch woods along the loch shore as well as planted mixed woodland and a  large Victorian aboretum, which is currently being recovered, cleared and selectively replanted. The gardens, originally covering more than 10 acres are also being redeveloped and contain interesting specimen trees, flowering shrubs and roses.

You need to be a  fit, and strong outdoors type able to work in all weather.

You need to have a chainsaw certificate and experience of agricultural machinery would be an advantage.

You need to be flexible in doing other estate work as required under the guidance of the Estate Manager.

A drivers license and your own vehicle.

The salary is £13,000 pa plus accommodation and all utilities.
